Arrived here with 40 bucks in my hand to this city, glistening Ruc-sac, guitar and the clothes on my back in awe of its enticing Sugar coated skyline and I just feel comfortable like I’ve been here before Can’t put my finger on it, what it is about here But really it’s the people you meet, the hands you shake, the hugs you give and take That define a place, and give it a place in your heart We gather on the rivers bank, people gather like they always have Drinks, tunes and conversations flow, and we play these notes that portray hope In a way words never could It’s just so good to be back here again, so good to be back here again Swept away by the swift kiss of this city, so pretty, it’s strange how A place grows on you somehow, and you’re not sure why You walk around and it just feels right, and these feelings I’ve learned not to fight Cause the present is all we truly have These wooded porches tell a story, it’s a prophecy that doesn’t take itself too seriously Ill-defined time with no reason or rhyme is defied by the conscious mind When we reside, in each other’s company under the sky

This is the song that wrote itself I just sat back and let it happen When you find you’re not confined to misled truths that only serve to close your mind To unsubscribe from wastes of time, media and advertisements And everything you know and think you’ve learned It’s time to pick up the spoon, start feeding ourselves Pick up the spoon, start feeding ourselves Cause I won’t lie to myself no more, I just feel that somethings not right We have every opportunity to be free, the cage doors wide open but we just don’t leave This is the play that writes itself Where people are fooled into the illusion that you have to fight Stand on people’s heads to get the main part But really we are all the same Holding the joypad playing the same game level by level game over and repeat But maybe one day, we will complete But only when we realise we never needed to compete Pick up the spoon. Start feeding yourself

Taid 03:18
I’m proud to bear your name It will always be part of me No posthumous romanticising You are the great man now that you always were The tide comes in and out But the sea will always be Taid, you came and went But you will always be And I’ve never felt the distance Or freedom feel like a prison But I know you’d understand With all my love and respect thank you No more suffering anymore We’ll still miss you, James
4.
Christmas on the run, burned by a heart shaped tongue It’s hard to explain the feeling but I will try to Trapped in paradise, but it still has its price It’s hard to know your whole family is together but I can’t be there Just can’t be there Christmas time it’s time to put aside Our differences dignified sided by side Have a drink no prejudice raise a glass not a fist Appreciate what you’ve got and celebrate who you miss You know who you are, know who you are No matter how near or far Instead of Christmas trees, its palm trees and beach Still we can’t help but crave familiarity The best of both worlds the Holy Ghost concludes, Is good measure of high spirits bless you all amen See you again, see you again
